Hell’s Gate National Park Day Trip

7:30am: Hells gate National Park day trip starts after breakfast with an early pick up by our driver guide.

8:45am: Stop over at the Great Rift Valley view point on the eastern escarpment to see Mt Longonot, Mt Suswa, and the expansive floor of the rift valley.

10:00am: Arrival at the hells gate national park bike riding (optional) and walking safari. Your guide will assist you to hire a good bike for the hells gate bike ride. Hells gate guided walking safari start immediately from the gate in the company of an experienced guide. (bike ride is optional)

12:00pm: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the hells gate national park picnic site with the view of the park and as you watch the animals walking around.

1.00pm: Depart hell’s gate national park or visit the lake Naivasha to enjoy an optional boat ride and see hippos, birds, and the best views of the mountains beyond. Optional visit to Mvuke spa swimming pool to swim in naturally heated and biggest swimming pool in Africa.

Lake Naivasha Boat Ride Day Trip

2.00pm: Arrival at lake Naivasha Sopa lodge and start a of your boating trip on the lake. Enjoy a 2 hour boating and fishing ride in the lake as you watch the hippos and thousands of bird species.

4:00pm: Head out to Elsamere conservation centre for high tea and a visit to the information centre to learn about conservation efforts of George and Joy Adamson and the ‘Born Free’ movie about Elsa the lioness.

4.30pm: Drive back to Nairobi and check into your hotel at 7:30 pm.
